Finance of America Co. has agreed to sell its subsidiary Incenter’s businesses—Agents National Title Holding Co. and Boston National Holdings—to Bermuda-based holding company Essent Group for $100 million. So reports The Title Report.
“Title insurance is a natural complement to our (management information) business with relatively low and stable loss ratios historically," Essent’s chairman and CEO, Mark Casale, said in a statement.
The deal’s closing is still pending regulatory approvals.
