Home Values to Drop 15% to 20% from Peak Levels: AEI

Home prices are headed for a cumulative price drop of 15% to 20% by the end of 2024, compared with their June 2022 peak. That’s according to a report by the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank.

Home price appreciation has risen a cumulative 38% since January 2020, according to the report.
