HUD Starts Task Force for Bias in Housing Appraisals

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Marcia Fudge has launched a task force to fight discrimination in home appraisals. So reports ABC News.

Marcia Fudge 1 1 e1615567977821 200x186The announcement of the Property Appraisal Valuation Equity (PAVE) task force came a month after President Joe Biden called on Fudge to fix appraisal discrimination.

Fudge will oversee the task force with domestic policy council director Susan Rice, former ambassador to the United Nations.
