Mortgage Demand Levels Off Following Interest Rate Rebound

With mortgage rates inching upward recently, overall demand for mortgage loans has flattened. So reports CNBC.

arrows 1834859 640 100x100According to the Mortgage Bankers Association’s seasonally adjusted index, mortgage applications ticked higher 0.2% for the week ending October 8.

While mortgage applications to buy a home rose 2%, refinance applications fell 1% for the week.
