Mortgage Rates Climb to Highest Since April Fool’s Day

U.S. long-term mortgage rates have risen to their highest since April. So reports Bloomberg.

arrows 311332 640 smallAccording to Freddie Mac, the 30-year averaged 3.14% for the week ending October 28, up five basis points from the previous week.

That marks the highest level for the benchmark rate since the week ending April 1, as the Federal Reserve prepares to tighten monetary policy.
