Wells Fargo Lays Off 36 More Workers Amid Mortgage Slowdown

Wells Fargo has revealed another round of job cuts in its Des Moines, Iowa, offices, where its flagging home mortgage division is based. So report the Des Moines Register and KCCI.

wells fargo 150x150According to a notice filed with Iowa Workforce Development, Well Fargo let go 36 workers on September 22 in its 10th round of layoffs since April.

A Wells Fargo spokesperson told the Register, “We regularly review and adjust staffing levels to align with market conditions and the needs of our businesses.”
