Black Knight Said to Be Exploring Empower Sale

Black Knight has opted to put its Empower loan origination software business up for sale, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. So reports Reuters.

Black KnightSelling Empower would be a move by the mortgage data vendor to address U.S. antitrust worries about Black Knight’s proposed $13.1 billion purchase by Intercontinental Exchange.

ICI bought Ellie Mae for $11 billion in 2020.
