Guaranteed Rate has begun offering a new training program to certify loan officers in reverse mortgages. So reports RISMedia.

Guaranteed RateGuaranteed Rate characterized the move as part of the Chicago-based mortgage company’s efforts to boost its reverse mortgage business.

“These mortgages fit a very specialized segment of the marketplace, but for those seeking financial flexibility, they can be a gamechanger," Jim Hettinger, executive vice president of operations, said in a statement.
