Mortgage Fraud Suit Hits City Council Candidate

A candidate for city council in San Jose, California, has been slapped with a mortgage fraud lawsuit. So reports the San Jose Spotlight.

 

fraud 2695269 640smallAccording to the lawsuit by Orange Coast and Real Advantage Title Insurance Company, longtime San Jose police officer and returning council candidate Tam Truong defrauded a title company employee, yielding more than $500,000 in allegedly ill-gotten gains.

A lawyer for Truong has previously denied all allegations against him.
