Amazon Vows $2B for Affordable Housing in Employment Hubs

Amazon has committed to investing more than $5 billion in the next five years on building and preserving affordable housing in three of the company’s main hubs for employment. So reports The Verge.

!--more-->Amazon said it would spend on affordable housing in Washington State’s Puget Sound area as well as Arlington, Va., and Nashville, Tenn.

The move follows promised spending from Apple, Facebook and Google to address housing affordability around San Francisco.
