Real Estate Investors Keep Buying Single-Family Homes

Soaring mortgage rates don’t seem to have rattled one group of home buyers: investors. So reports MarketWatch.

corelogicAccording to fresh data from CoreLogic, 26% of single-family home buying in June was by investors, a share that has drifted near 25% throughout 2023.

CoreLogic economist Thomas Malone told the news service that almost 60% of investors are financing their home purchases with a mortgage.
