HUD Earmarks $75M for Tribal Community Development

The Department of Housing and Urban Development has unveiled plans to offer $75 million via the Indian Community Development Block Grant Program. So reports DS News.

HUDAmong the permitted uses for the grant money are infrastructure, community facilities and housing rehabilitation to benefit Native American and Alaskan Native families in Indian areas.

“The purpose of these grants is to create more equitable outcomes for Tribal residents," HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge said in a statement.
